Because Lees Corner is literally across the street from Chantilly. If you out then at Westfield, they have to then travel an additional 5-6 miles. Westfield is very far down 50 and the traffic and lights are horrific.[/quote]

If your commute to Chantilly is 0.5 miles, and your commute to Westfield is 5.3 miles, that is not an increase of 5 to 6 miles. [/quote]

Ok so I’m off by 0.2 miles then? You sound idiotic. Why are you so triggered by Lees Corner staying at Chantilly? It makes sense and I’m not even a Lees Corner parent.

I'm not triggered by LCES staying at Chantilly, and I actually have a dog in this fight.

To take a neighborhoods that are extremely close to their current high school and move it to a high school that is much, much further away and separated from all the other neighborhoods attending to that school is just wrong.

Chantilly is already losing one school.  Take the kids who go to Cub Run and be done with it.  Westfield has new construction to fill the space, as well.
