There is still the hurdle of the workers compensation exclusive remedy issue, which would eliminate her right to sue the school and negate her recovery. This verdict is not positive in that regard. If there were a criminal violation, it would take this case out of the exclusive remedy provision.

You need to keep up. The civil trial has already happened and the workers comp issue was already decided by that judge who denied that claim. [/quote]
