You clearly do not watch the news on any channel.   This has been asked and answered many times.  AND, FYI, Hedgseth has addressed it.

1. It has been common practice.
2. This was a training mission.  This does not mean these were inexperienced pilots.  They had night vision goggles but it is still uncertain whether they were in use.  It was a yearly requirement.

I agree that it is troubling, but it is not uncommon to see these helicopters there.  These types of helicopters are used to transport VIPS as well as the military mission.[/quote]
