Who’s contract?! And what level of benefits would either of them get from it? They aren’t super famous international stars trying to raise their global influence. They’re barely even D-list celebrities (if that?!) Contractual relationships just aren’t a thing at their level.

I think Jen is trying to prove to everyone how COMPLETELY over Brandon she is. Like, could new guy be any more opposite?! She’s not even attracted to white redneck men anymore, and this is “proof” of how much she’s grown and moved one. I also think Jen loves the idea of shocking people - because even though it’s totally normal to most of us - under her little rock it’s shocking and edgy to be in an interracial relationship.
