A woman is pregnant. The fetus/baby is implanted in the Fallopian tube. This woman may die from the -#1 cause of maternal death in the 1st trimester. A Fallopian tube cannot support a growing fetus to air i ability outside of the womb. There is no way to transplant the fetus from the Fallopian tube to the uterus. Is an abortion moral?
Every attempt should be made to save the life of both. However, if that is deemed impossible, abortion would be a moral, but tragic, solution. However, this is a pretty rare situation.
You know nothing about women’s health and should really excuse yourself from any discussion of this topic. Ectopic pregnancies are NOT “pretty rare.” One in every fifty pregnancies in the U.S. is ectopic. There is no way to “save the life of both.” Despite stupid Republican legislators thinking that it is. Some Catholic hospitals wait until the affected Fallopian tube ruptures before they deem the abortion necessary, endangering both the woman and her future fertility.
I am repeating what Planned Parenthood says...that they are rare. Maybe you should excuse yourself. https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/pregnancy/ectopic-pregnancy My comment was a general comment...in any instance of a troubled pregnancy, every attempt should be made to save the life of both. Obviously, for ectopic pregnancies, that is not possible....hence, the use of my term "impossible".
