Trump is such an egotistical megalomaniac. He would rather bomb the GOP and prevent them from taking the Senate majority because his toddler feelings are hurt by a candidate who would not support him running again. T He has no fealty to party, only to those who grovel before him. I agree with O'Dea, another "Biden vs Trump" election in 2024 would rip apart the country. Both parties need better standard bearers for 2024. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/3694601-trump-attack-leaves-gop-wondering-if-he-cares-about-senate-majority/
Former President Trump’s Monday assault against Joe O’Dea, the GOP’s Senate nominee in Colorado, is angering Republicans while leaving them wondering if he cares about the party winning back the majority in the upper chamber. O’Dea, a pro-abortion rights moderate whom Democrats spent $4 million against in the primary, was already in an uphill fight against Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.). Now Republicans worry any chance he has of pulling off an upset are being extinguished by Trump, prompting frustration and exasperation with the ex-president. “It certainly is not [helpful],” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), a Trump ally, told The Hill. “I would hate to see O’Dea lose to Sen. Bennet by a few votes just because Donald Trump urged Republicans not to vote and we came up short of the majority by one senator.”

Your thesis is muddy. Is this a Trump problem, or somehow are the Democrats to blame for this? Do you want to address all the money that Republicans have spent spoiling Democratic primaries or running spoiler candidates? I hope Trump spoils the GOP’s senate chances. I hope he tanks it completely. I hope the Democrats get a majority in the senate that makes the Republicans’ teeth hurt and I hope the Democrats kick the Republicans in their aching teeth. The Republicans will do nothing for anyone but their billionaire owners and for Russia if they win.
I'm kinda loving this energy. Not Senate but I'm volunteering for the guy running against Elise Stefanik and the soft R's and I's that we are targeting don't have very nice things to say about her. The general feeling is, "F Stefanik." So clinging to MAGA may bring them all down. That's my hope.
Thank you for your service.
