The GOP has not fought alternative energy.  We just don't believe (and it is proving to be correct) that this nation is ready to go as green as the Dems think we should.  The technology isn't there.  The infrastructure isn't there.  The war on fossil fuels that the Dems have waged have resulted in record high gas prices.  This is part of their plan.

And, the law that you reference.... It would have done NOTHING for oil and gas prices.  You first have to prove there is gouging going on.  No Dem has provided any evidence of such.  [/quote]
