I guess posters on both sides prefer debating who is a bot and what they do IRL, but another content creator has been withdrawn from the subpoena to X, if anyone is interested in this news: https://x.com/kiarajade2001/status/1949196317248376887
Lethal Lauren tweeted that hers has been withdrawn as well but she is still seeking a protective order. It really seems there was no basis for the vast majority of the subpoenas.
Now up to five, all of whom were seeking motions to quash.
That's just gross. So they never had any basis for this. Here's Hudson's CYA letter https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.634304/gov.uscourts.nysd.634304.496.0.pdf They want those MTQs mooted only to those creators who filed, meaning they are still seeking info from the others, and specifically ask the judge not to quash the subpoena in its entirety. And they only mention Google and X, not TikTok.
Yup, it’s pretty ugly.
