It's not because of lack of talent. It is because they aren't in a system that values teaching them how to actually play football.
You're looking at the scoreboard of games played by 14 year old kids and that tells you what? Which system is teaching kids how to play football whilst also simultaneously focused primarily on the score? Almost if not every team dcua plays against are using biobanded kids to win. That's their main and only focus. DCUA uses all players on their rosters in different roles and positions. That alone tells you winning isn't the priority, unless you're a moron who doesn't know soccer. If the DC Academy was focusing only on beating a Bethesda or Achilles or SYC, they would only play on-age the best players in their preferred best positions. You ignoramus should really stick to threads and topics about Capelli uniforms being late for delivery.
Keep telling yourself this...
Which parts are the PP telling themselves that you have evidence to prove its not true?
The PP isn't saying anything. Just asking questions. Reality is they have no points to prove or disprove.
Really? So the facts stated DCUA rotates their entire roster through different roles and positions to bolster individual development instead of playing the best players in their best positions to focus on winning isn't saying anything. You consider that a question? You can tap-out at any time.
Rotating your roster is tables stakes. No credit given for that. Them rotating their roster doesn't mean a whole lot when they don't teach them the roles.. pretty easy to understand
Can you share the daily training videos you review consistently? I just assume you're familiar with what the 4 teams does in training everyday including audio of the conversations between coaches and players. Otherwise you wouldn't be making statements about what they do or don't teach the kids.
I hesitate to respond to this ridiculous person, but knowledge of training is not necessary to judge the success of a program. All of the measurable facts are elsewhere in this thread re: individual player promotion and development, results at the youth level, investment in the program, staff turnover, facilities, etc. And . . . for those of us who have regularly seen them play, they are well behind the other academies in MLS Next Mid-Atlantic. Specifically the U15 squad, even if they are rotating players, has a superior roster to all of the teams in the area. Their individual players can dominate their defenders for moments or stretches of play. They simply don't have an apparent plan and do not circulate the ball or play well as a team, especially compared to Union. Red Bull have an even more physically dominant team selection, but at least they play a style to fit it.
You think circulating the ball as a team at U15 is Individual development on the path to Individual growth to professional levels? Which Pro Scouts have 'Team Ball Circulation' as a measurement of a player? That a joke?
Do you think taking too many touches, poor decision making, and lack of off ball movement is what pro scouts are looking for? If so, you're in a great spot, and don't worry about it. Take less time defending it and just enjoy the ride.
Your goalposts are on wheels You wrote "Their individual players can dominate" But since I pointed out your ignorance on what's not important at U15 (team ball circulation) for Individual Development, now you're switching to the kids have low technical skills and low IQ You're a First Class Loser on an anonymous forum attacking the U15 KIDS with clear lies that they lack skills. Where are all the kids in the dmv hiding that have superior skills but remain hidden? And don't be silly pointing out the obvious that there are good players not at the academy, because we know no academy can take everyone.
I appreciate your dilligence and feel your frustration. I'm sure you're also frustrated with your lack of acumen at making an argument. I'm very specifically saying the kids are skilled. They're great players and can be individually dominant. I am also noting the aspects of the game where their coaching and club are letting them down. Nothing I've said is incongruent.
You feel and it's your opinion that coaching and club are letting them down Clearly your biased subjective jaded take. Obviously. Others feel otherwise, especially if, unlike you, their son is actually there and they are feeling good about it.
Right. We know this is only about your feelings. We've established that a long time ago. Just feel good about DCU. Go ahead. We will let you. Great that you prioritize your feelings over the realities of the club. Great job.
gotta keep it 100 as a neutral the facts, verifiable evidence, truths, data, measurement guy ain't about feelings
That poster isn't about anything. Asking for verifiable evidence that the sun exists.
More like asking for verifiable evidence the existence of the sun makes Norwegians blonde
