While Russia should be banned from SWIFT they'll just use another currency or even gold to do their banking. The sanctions are weak including the SWIFT sanction. Russia's economy is basically based on oil which we aren't going to touch so not much harm will be done to them financially. After releasing the weak sanctions the stock market went from bright red to green and the price of a barrel of oil went down when it was clear Russian oil wasn't going to be messed with.[/quote]
