I think at some point they should do a table read or something of it with SJP and another actor, or one of the writers or something. And I think, rightly, that they didn’t want to put the characters or the audience through another death. It would have been too much, with Big dead, Samantha gone, and Stanford dead. They clearly wanted to keep things moving for Carrie after Big’s death, and that would have been too much of a hurdle. It is a shame they couldn’t have filmed the scene they had planned. [/quote]
