Republicans do not have the votes to do that.[/quote]I'm hazy on the details, but I remember they announced they could do a bill that can be passed with majority vote, no filibuster, and they said they could do this twice. I think they used the second one to pass the "Inflation Reduction Act". 65-35 would not have needed this.[/quote]
