Almost if not every team dcua plays against are using biobanded kids to win. That's their main and only focus.

DCUA uses all players on their rosters in different roles and positions. 
That alone tells you winning isn't the priority, unless you're a moron who doesn't know soccer.

If the DC Academy was focusing only on beating a Bethesda or Achilles or SYC, they would only play on-age the best players in their preferred best positions.

So the facts stated DCUA rotates their entire roster through different roles and positions to bolster individual development instead of playing the best players in their best positions to focus on winning isn't saying anything.

Rotating your roster is tables stakes.  No credit given for that.  Them rotating their roster doesn't mean a whole lot when they don't teach them the roles.. pretty easy to understand [/quote]

I just assume you're familiar with what the 4 teams does in training everyday including audio of the conversations between coaches and players.

I hesitate to respond to this ridiculous person, but knowledge of training is not necessary to judge the success of a program.  All of the measurable facts are elsewhere in this thread re:  individual player promotion and development, results at the youth level, investment in the program, staff turnover, facilities, etc.  And . . . for those of us who have regularly seen them play, they are well behind the other academies in MLS Next Mid-Atlantic.  Specifically the U15 squad, even if they are rotating players, has a superior roster to all of the teams in the area.  Their individual players can dominate their defenders for moments or stretches of play.  They simply don't have an apparent plan and do not circulate the ball or play well as a team, especially compared to Union.  Red Bull have an even more physically dominant team selection, but at least they play a style to fit it.     [/quote]
