These are not precision strikes: From the WaPo "Israel probably employed U.S.-made 2,000-pound munitions in its strike that killed Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, according to a review of visuals released by the Israel Defense Forces. Analysts who examined videos of the strike and its aftermath at The Washington Post’s request said the damage was consistent with the use of multiple 2,000-pound bombs." The current issue is not about Israel's right of existence, it's about the right of Palestinians and Lebanese people to live. On 10/8 Israel could have chosen to fortify its defenses while examining the root of why Hamas held so much anger, working cooperatively with its neighbors to develop a plan for long term peace. Instead, Israel chose the path of vengeance and war. Maybe that makes Israelis feel better, but I think it created - and is still creating - much more hatred. Hatred will lead to more terrorism both in Israel as well as in the US.
Nice blame shifting. If Hamas and Hezbollah don’t want to be attacked, they should stop attacking people. Simple.
So they should just bend over and take what Israel continues to do to THEM?
Hezbollah, huthis, Hamas are all terrorist organizations backed by Iran operating in countries that don't seem to want to remove them. They all should be eliminated, no cease fire just like isis
+100
No. Hamas and Hezbollah are only fighting against the Israeli who stole their land and kill their people. Israel is the true terrorist. Just look at what they do!
Hamas and Hezbollah are both officially designated as terrorist organizations by the U.S. government. Hamas has been on the U.S. State Department's Foreign Terrorist Organization list since 1997 due to its numerous attacks on civilians, including suicide bombings and rocket attacks aimed at achieving political objectives. Similarly, Hezbollah has been listed as a terrorist group since 1997 for its role in violence against Israeli and U.S. targets and its strong ties to Iran Despite these designations, Lebanon and Palestine have refused to categorize these groups as terrorist organizations. Hezbollah holds significant political power in Lebanon and is not classified as a terrorist organization there. Israel, on the other hand, is not listed as a terrorist state by the U.S. or any other major international body. Israel is recognized as a sovereign state and a key ally to the U.S. and many Western countries. While there are accusations from critics regarding its military actions, especially in Gaza and the West Bank, these are not categorized as acts of terrorism by the U.S. government. Israel’s military operations are generally framed within the context of national defense against groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, which are known for targeting civilians. While the debate over Israel's policies continues, international bodies like the U.S. State Department focus on the actions of groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, whose tactics include the targeting of civilians, to make their terrorist designations
AI trash You could have just said “because the U.S. says so” and it would been just as credible as regurgitating that State (glorious impartial State!) designated anyone anything. The same State Department that employs individuals like Blinken and Seldowitz and doest’t consider conflicts of interest a disqualifier unless the candidate is Arabic or Muslim, or otherwise might not be 100% in the tank for Israel.
