They are playing in the mid-tier "state cup" against other club's third teams. They opted not to participate in the state cup for their league (ECNL-RL), which is understandable in the sense of why pay to play against the same teams you are already playing against during the season, but they once again chose to "play down" for the state cup. All these VA state cups are so misleading. They really are just a tournament comprising VA teams. It isn't a battle against all the top teams in the state. [/quote]
