Trump entered office after Obama.....and we know Obama was not a fan of big oil. 
He increased the production of oil, which does not occur instantaneously.

According to the US Energy Information Administration, this is the production: (annual thousand barrels/day)

So, what I see is increasing production under Trump with a small dip the year of the pandemic.

So you are saying trump controlled the US oil industry? I love when conservatives think the US president sits in his office and controls each section of the economy. Bet trump picked up the phone and called the guy in charge oil production.
