Amen. I'd love it if they could just for a while rally around the flag and democracy. We're witnessing history folks. This is going to go down like 9/11, COVID and the great recession but probably bigger than all three if Putin continues down this path. I want to be aligned with my fellow Americans against a common enemy -- hell, that might be the only thing that brings people together (it did during the Cold War). [/quote]

Normal people want peace and prosperity, not wars and economic disasters "explained" by them to make us feel better.   And there was a reason we never had a full blown war with Russia even in territories far removed, not to mention close to their borders.  Russia is no Iraq.  [/quote]
