The only GP sophomore who stood out has been the POLE #28. The kid is a beast! Other than him, I didn't notice any of their stud "sophomores". They have a sophomore attackman who is a crease guy and lives off the maryland signee and the Amherst signee who can feed him inside. Both of those seniors graduate next year.

I was more impressed with Landon's two freshman (#8) and (#22) both combined to score 66% of Landon's goals on Thursday.

I wasn't aware of Mater Dei now being run by a Gonzaga alum.  Regardless, I really don't think the MD pipeline is going to swing back in GZ's favor anytime soon. I've been around here for a while and strongly believe Gonzaga benefitted when their was a down economy (half the tuition of GP) and saw a major influx of applicants. I'd even argue, even several full pay Mater Dei families were sick / tired of Giblin's coaching antics and saw GZ as another strong lacrosse alternative.
