Rare? I know several. Some who never even made it to selection camp.

Nexus moves along, and picks for the championship, the same people every year. Sometimes a few others break in for a year or two. But, while Nexus is good for some training and some exposure, I'm really not a huge fan of it (and I say this as parent of a kid who made it to selection camp every year and went to the Championship-and did well there).

For one, unless your D1 committed by junior year, they prob aren't moving you on. And for another, the (mostly D1) coaches push forward their commits. Coaches are . . . pretty upfront about that. Thus, NEXUS is HIGHLY politicized. [/quote]
