What people have a problem with is Asian families believing that they have such a monopoly on caring about education that having, say, twelve times as many students at TJ as Black families is somehow inadequate - that there mere existence of Black and Hispanic students at TJ at all is evidence of affirmative action. And that’s exactly what many families voiced prior to the admissions changes - and it’s why I don’t take them very seriously now.[/quote]
