No, I think white gay men are the wealthiest households in America who view women as egg producers and egg incubators for designer babies and in general give zero effs for lived experiences of women. They have historically attempted to mute the voices of lesbians in the gay rights movement, engage in misogynistic minstrel shows denigrating women, culturally appropriate from
Black women with abandon, and in general, in my narrow cisgendered professional work experience, have exposed some of the more racist, anti-immigrant, anti-women, fat-shaming behavior I have ever seen. They are not proven alllies of women. [/quote]

Exactly. Thank you for articulating what I was thinking. There are always exceptions but gay men act in their financial interests and their sexual interests. They view women as peripheral. [/quote]
