Yes, those that they are battering may not have liked them before but they certainly hate them now. That makes tragic events like 9/11 and 10/7 more likely to occur again.

Someone above wrote "Jews have only wanted peace". I believe that is true, but it is peace on their terms.  It leaves out seeing the harm the formation of Israel and subsequent actions have caused the Palestinian (and Lebanese) people and helping identify a plan for healing. That harm impose by Israel was (and is) real and felt and until Israel acknowledges this, they are never going to get the peace they want because hurt people get angry. And angry people do terrible things.
