He was an addict and he beat her to death for drug money. I called the cops. My mother and her brother and their aunt lied to the police about what happened. They then pressured me to let it go by saying that my grandmother wouldn't want her son to go to prison. I let it go. I wish I had pushed the issue. My uncle overdosed six years later, but he left a wake of destruction behind him that is hard to believe. The death certificate said "fall" as the cause of death. [/quote]
