So the Republican plan is finally out! Just give up since it’s a fact of life here (and almost nowhere else). Then we add armed security to all soft targets: schools, malls, grocery stores, etc.  So maybe a couple million extra security guards should help.

Maybe all public areas should function like an airport with armed guards and metal detectors. Everyone will just love this republican vision of a fully restricted and armed security state![/quote]
