How unusual is it that Blake is delaying the depositions? I’m not the pro-JBer who kept saying she should settle, but I do genuinely believe she doesn’t want to go through with this lawsuit.
You don’t have to be pro JB to understand she should try to settle this case. Anyone watching this case knows it’s been a train wreck for her
Settling doesn’t really help her. Letting Freedman continue to bleed out helps her. Baldoni lost a lot of credibility when his complaint got dismissed and Freedman said he would refuse but didn’t. She should keep going and let Freedman continue to show his crazy. Maybe he will fake punch Gottlieb at the dep. we can only hope.
You’re saying Baldoni lost a lot of credibility but blake continues to bleed Instagram followers by 100,000s. So does her account for Blake Brown beauty though that is shedding by the thousands because it has a fraction of the amount of followers anyway. I’ll say it again, she just came off the biggest box office hit of her career and it’s crickets on her IMDb. The three movies she has upcoming have literally been sitting there for years and are likely not going to be made or not going to be made with her in it. She’s had no one besides Amber Tamblyn publicly support her since Justin dropped his lawsuit and we’re six months past that.
All she needs is for Freedman to continue to self destruct in front of everyone and people will desert Baldoni saying they were mislead, etc. I think she just needs to wait it out further as Freedman continues on his self imposed death march to total meltdown, or whatever his ultimate destination is. I am here for it.
We gave you a whole separate thread for your Friedman obsession, use it.
I think you're confused, so I'll help you out. There's a separate Bryan Freedman thread for Bryan Freedman's antics in other cases. However, Bryan Freedman continues to represent all of the defendants in this case except for Jed Wallace. So he currently serves as the lead attorney to Justin Baldoni, Jamie Heath, Steve Sarowitz, Wayfarer, Jen Abel, Melissa Nathan, and TAG PR. I might have left some out. Anyway, he's the lawyer to all of these defendants (which is itself a question regarding conflict of interest tbh, but that's for another day). And as their lawyer here, to the extent that his actions in this case are questionable or interesting, it's reasonable to raise them here. So, for example, when he drafts and files a complaint where every single claim therein gets tossed out by the judge for failing to adequately plead the facts and the law, that is a rather remarkable attorney accomplishment that should get reported in this thread. And then when he goes on TMZ (lol) a day later and says he will replead all of the claims he has remaining, and makes it clear that he does not actually understand the number of claims that is, that is also a remarkable fact that can be discussed here. And then when two weeks later he actually fails to file an amended complaint as he just promised TMZ and all Baldoni supporters two weeks ago that he would do, with no real explanation, that is also an event that is newsworthy to this thread. In general, it seems appropriate to describe this behavior as "self-destructive" or as a "self imposed death march to total meltdown," but feel free to disagree and provide your alternative description. I think it's interesting that Bryan Freedman hasn't filed anything in the case under his own name here since June 13th, just a few days after the massive dismissal order. Most of the case filings are now being handled by Garofalo or Fritz, though obviously Freedman is still included on the meet and confer emails. It could be that this pertains to the issue of Freedman himself now being implicated in the smear, given that Gottlieb filed a text showing that journalist James Vituscka was texting directly with Freedman during the time of the smear campaign. I'm interested to see how all of this plays out.
I feel someone should warn Bryan Freedman about this poster’s disturbing obsession with him.
There was once a study about how a gigantic fraction of tweets were written by only a small proportion of users. I feel like that's what fuels the discourse here too -- a bunch of the same "power" users posting across different forums. Would not surprise me if it's that weirdo Kat Ortega lady.
Sure seems odd to me that you lot post the most disturbing speculation and totally-made-up-in-your-head theories and insults about Blake Lively and her family here, complete with weird pictures and speculation about her children, (believing yourselves to be doing god’s work I guess). But then you seem to have a meltdown when someone posts a series of facts about Baldoni’s controversial attorney doing terrible legal work on the case. When I thought this thread was supposed to be about the legal work on the case. And he is the source for a lot of it. Your protectiveness for Bryan Freedman is just so weird coming from the people who mercilessly mocked Lively’s face and appearance and clothing and mental health for hundreds of pages, and yet somehow nobody should say anything bad about the attorney who dared Lively to have her deposition in Madison Square Gardens and sell tickets? Bryan Freedman clearly lives for controversy so you should just let him enjoy it, honestly.
No one posts weird pictures and speculation about her children. What on earth are you talking about? And people here barely talk about her looks. Regardless, even if all that were true, it would be misogynistic, but it wouldn't be "weird" per se, since she's a public figure and this thread is about Blake and Justin. On the other hand, you are ranting on and on about an attorney that 99.98% of the population isn't aware of. We're not calling you out because we're being "protective" of him.
Why are we talking about this? Guy is a scumbag, move on.
You're the one who made up blatant lies by saying we were posting pictures of her children, you absolute weirdo.
