Loudoun will be aspire next year. GA gives clubs 2 years to prove themselves. We know how the first year went for Loudoun. They’ve got 1 more year to go before the club gets demoted. NVA is also on the hook. Both need to merge with Rev and call the new club “Loudoun Alliance FC” or something like that.
Maybe not. I heard they didn't stack NVA with all Loudoun's best players this year to try and push them into Loudoun GA. They are hoping not to take St. James' spot as the absolute dweller for 26/27. Good for Loudoun's chances but worse for NVA keeping top 3 in the south east moving forward.
If they were top players, they wouldn’t be in LS GA. Only girls who can’t make it to NVA end up going to LS GA. Fact check!
Not really some players prefer better coaching and a more stable environment which NVA currently doesn’t have.
Okay, if that makes you and your kid feel better about yourselves.
Sorry your kid didn’t get NVA offer, understand your disappointment Loudoun was able to pull a lot of talent in at least the u13 and u14 teams from multiple clubs' top teams. Add on top that NVA is not taking or keeping all the Loudoun's first team girls anymore so Loudoun should do fine next year not to lose GA. I know a few pissed off parents that they feel trapped with Loudoun GA because of the short NVA/VDA/FVU offer windows.
There is no “pathway” from Loudoun to NVA anymore. Not that there was one before NVA made the switch to GA. They operate as 2 separate clubs - NVA poaches Loudoun players they like at ID sessions. Loudoun players receive NVA offers and it’s up to them to reject or accept. Some do, some don’t. The days of NVA being an exalted club are over and I think both NVA/Loudoun leadership know that.
