Finally caught up with the thread, here's my theory. Not as exciting as some others but seems to fit what I've heard of so far: 1) CB having an affair/relationship with JR 2) BB banging the AP 3) CB ends the affair, JR takes it badly 4) JR waits nearby the house until BB and AP leave and either lets himself in or is let in by CB 5) JR snaps and stabs CB 6) AP returns to the house, sees suspicious vehicle, calls BB who tells her to check on CB and where a weapon is 7) JR does not pose a threat to AP, but she shoots him anyway out of fear/panic 8) BB covers for AP thinking there would not be much scrutiny believing it was a home invasion + his weapon was not secured properly + #2 above
So let’s entertain the idea of CB and JR having an affair that ended badly. We can deduct from this thread that JR was in an open relationship, right? His partner is grieving and defending his character…that doesn’t give me “if you stop sleeping with me I will murder you” vibes. (If they, (CB+JR) were even acquainted in the first place ) So next, he (JR) waited by the house, that’s on a secluded pipestem…both BB and AP are out of the house over an hour before the daughters school (or “ZOO TRIP”) starts but magically! AP has to return for a “forgotten lunch” and also, BB who apparently didn’t have work that day (but also told people he had work that day) decided to go out at 7am the morning after his “birthday party” was close enough to come to the rescue! And uhhhh…#8? Are you kidding me? If you’re in law enforcement holding a job that requires a clearance, you follow protocol. You don’t “cover for people” unless they mean more to you than your career/livelihood Let’s try again with #7, It’s been said that AP was given access to a firearm after JR had already been shot, in a manner that would have left him blind. Was the threat not neutralized? You have someone who has been shot in the face, a stab victim… And 13 minutes…
