This case haunts me because it doesn't make sense. It bothers me. Like others, I question why they did it in the first place. And how did a short trip become a nightmare? I feel like this could have happened to me and I need answers. I have been a hiker for decades, and now that I have a family it's become one of our favorite activities. Despite that, I had zero knowledge about heat stroke and how quickly it can act. So I'm thankful to have learned so much about it. But I'm waiting on someone to put the pieces together so I can understand the how and why. Hopefully the toxicology reports can shed some light.[/quote]
