Someone is hell bent on continuing to bring up the fact that Walney Estates gets to stay at Chantilly. I wonder if it’s an RIO mommy that wants the focus off of how Crossfield got to stay at Oakton. Talk about being nowhere near the school! Let’s talk about Crossfield, shall we?
Telling people not to talk about your neighborhood's bribery is a sure fire way to keep the conversation front and center.
+1. The situation with Walney Oaks is very suspect. Who pulled strings for that neighborhood?
I think I remember reading on one of these threads--quite some time ago--that they convinced Reid they belonged at Chantilly because they could "hear the Chantilly band practice." (Likely not true.) I think this was one of the first groups Reid met with. They are almost exactly halfway between Westfield and Chantilly--and close to both. The only egress from that community is on to Walney Rd--right across from Walney Estates which is Westfield. They could have a bus stop there and pick up both neighborhoods if there were few enough kids there. It makes no sense at all to leave Walney Oaks at Chantilly and send Chantilly Lace area that is much, much closer to Chantilly--and should be at Chantilly.
