My mother is a physician from a country where abortions were illegal.  She watched a mother of 3 bleed out and die from a botched abortion and supported choice thereafter.  Do we need to have that happen in the US?[/quote][/quote]

Why should the woman wait until her life is in danger?  Isn’t that too late?  Who determines whether the woman’s life is in danger?  What if the woman has pre-parting depression and is suicidal?

What about the fact that pregnancy changes your body and your health forever?

What is the woman is raped?  Who determines whether a rape actually occrred?  Or better yet, who determines whether a miscarriage occurs?

Did you know that there are women who have been improsoned in America for a miscarriage?
