FYI, coaching from VolleyViet, from my DD's experience, wasn't the best. All the coaches are volunteers, just like MVSA. They don't critique player's forms, and they don't give them many tips to improve. Most of the coaches are the sons or daughters of the players on the same team, and could be biased (I'm not saying anybody this year was!). It is obvious that volunteers cannot coach at the same level as an experienced, payed coach, but it's what keeps the costs low![/quote]
Another club to consider from Lorton might be 540 in Fredericksburg. They are in the Old Dominion region rather than CHRVA, but their teams seem pretty solid and their fees are lower than the top CHRVA clubs. [/quote]

OP here, I looked on the 540 website and they seem like a very solid team, but their lowest team costs 3000+ dollars!!! It's a lot for a local, low level team.[/quote]
