You really are past your wits end because of your kid getting rejected by the Academy

Are you so blinded by your emotional distress it hasn't crossed your mind that educated intelligent successful parents have kids at DCU?
Or you're assuming DC is taking advantage of underprivileged kids from low socioeconomic households with parents who don't speak English?

You do what you think is best for your kid and let them do what they want to do with theirs.

Book smarts doesn't equal common sense.  You can have all the paper credentials in the world and that doesn't make you knowledgeable about football and how the system works.  Educated people also make sorry a## decisions. Just like you did.  [/quote]
