Inflation has outpaced wage increases, so yes..... people are paying more for less.  
This is not a strong economy despite the rhetoric by this administration.

There is a reason for this. When Trump was president, the economy collapsed; people were not driving and thus the cost of fuel went down. When Biden took office, he instituted a plan for distributing vaccines. People returned to work, and thus the demand for gas when up and the cost went with it.

I suppose you prefer sustained economic collapse and recession, which is what Papa Bush, W and Trump left in 1993, 2009 and 2021 respectively.

Me? I prefer a growing economy, the way Clinton, Obama and now Biden, are doing it.
