Kail is mid-Carribbean vacation when she figures out that it may not have been a great idea to take this trip?!?
Right??!!
I'm the quoted PP - I need to save my posts until I watch the whole train wreck. Then she's trying to pick WHERE she wants her baby to have dual citizenship? and pretends to be surprised but okay that Chris doesn't care that he might have a baby with dual VI citizenship because he's with another girl. W.T.F?!? Every week I think it can't get more insane and every week I'm wrong. One of Leah's kids is going to drown. This is the umpteenth time she is SO freaking lax with their safety.
I thought she was showing actual parenting in regards to their safety. did I miss something? Gracie can touch the bottom of the pool, so she doesn't need a life jacket. Addie can't, so she gets one, and Ali can't either, so Leah made her wear it even though she didn't want to (and whined about it. Ugh, Ali has really figured out the card to play to get the attention.)
She was already swimming when Leah decided that she needed a lifejacket. Thzt's the kiss of death and guaranteed to elicit a tantrum. I don't allow my non swimmer to go into the pool fence without her puddle jumper or vest, not pull her out of the pool while she's already having fun and then make her put it on.
your nonswimmer is the equivalent of Leah's youngest who has a life vest on the whole time. There's nothing wrong with letting her have some time without it (the kid was not in harm's way) and was supervised until leah thought she was getting tired, using all her energy and wouldn't be able to last all day and was swallowing some water. Yes, it did result in a tantrum but because the kid is realizing she's different and doesn't want to be. Leah handles the situation well and the discussion with allie was a good one.
