I refused painkillers after surgery because I couldn't be groggy and take care of toddlers at the same time. Clearly, these people became addicted because they wanted the feeling painkillers gave them and when they weren't available any longer, they switched to heroin. With all drug addiction, there is the initial choice to get involved.[/quote]
