It took LAUSD only a few hours to cancel this event when presented with a clear view of what this company has been doing on campus.  They sent out an E-mail which reached 100's of educators in the district and warned them about using this or any company like them during school hours.

To the APEX representative here encouraging the parents to view materials about APEX...  would you care to share the "curriculum" videos you use to train your employees??  The ones where they are training the children how to do marketing calls?  Care to explain why your company uses the term "Training" for the curriculum you provide?   You are training the children according to a curriculum correct?  At least that is what is says on your videos you use try to market to prospective franchise buyers right?  My school district freaked out when it found out APEX was teaching a curriculum.

Why don't you share with us what a day with APEX on campus looks like.  Especially the part where your company uses P.E. classes as an opportunity to include the children who have been left out.  In the letter our school received explaining how a day would look, including children in the P.E. class was a way to make them feel included.  This might be the most disturbing thing I have heard from this company.  They knowingly make the children feel "left out" and they have parts of the program to make up for it.   I also hate the fact that they use a class the children should all be included in anyway as some sort of way to include the children where otherwise left out.

And while they justify how much money it takes to run the program, because they have to pay their employees and pay for supplies, the franchise owners are walking away with Millions of dollars.
