You bring up a good point, and now that I think about, the one time I've been stopped (I didn't see the no U-turn, honestly!), the cop stood back, forcing me to twist around - and I imagine they were taught to do that. Seems we could go a long way to de-escalating tensions in routine traffic stops with that very simple protocol.[/quote]
