Even though PBO went to Occidental (his first two years) he knew that he had to go to an even more rigorous school to further his career. I like Howard and Spelman* but they aren't on the same playing field as Barnard/Columbia/Stanford (the schools that she appears to have her eyes on). *I wouldn't say Barnard is that much better then Spelman other then the fact that Barnard is affiliated with Columbia.
