I think back now and I don't know if the chip was on my shoulder or on their shoulder.. maybe some of both.  I think if you come from less wealth it's important to instill in your child their self worth and value beyond material things.  It's also important for them to realize they are getting the SAME education with similar opportunities as the wealthier kids.  Don't think of yourself as an outsider because if you're in the school you're already an insider.  I did go to an Ivy League although I don't know if that really helped me make any money.  I managed to make money because I felt like I had nothing to lose so I started a business and it worked out.  [/quote]
