How can you not care that nothing moved forward with the story if you like it so much? How it is better writing to just repeat the same plot, the same details, and even the basic traits of the characters? The prequels had too little dialogue, bad acting by Anakin, and too much violence but otherwise were fine in terms of plot. A 3rd death star/planet blown up in the series? Really? Why are we even teaching our kids to think critically and be innovative if we can't?[/quote]

BC this new star wars is not about art its about money.  Disney is tugging at the heart strings of the over 40 set with episode 7 (plus 8 and 9 to come) and will rope in the younger generation with the spin-offs.  Doing an innovative movie would have left the old fans behind - as much as I have mixed feeling about the film, I have to admit that I almost cried why Han and Chewy appeared on screen - it was magical :D [/quote]
