So many things wrong with this statement. The military is why you live such a privileged pampered life here. Do you know how rampant wars were? These people sacrifice themselves to keep you and your family safe and you call them without humanity?

As for losing your daughter to a senseless death, I am sure all those families with sons really wanted their boys to be drafted. No one wants their children to go to war, when it happens it's a tragedy for all.

Not hypocritical.  Women already sacrifice when it comes to pregnancy, childbearing and childbirth.  This is the sacrifice we make for humanity and for our country.  Men don't do anything on this front besides stick it in.

+1 so all those strong independent women who have to go to grad school and mold heir minds to prepare for being a mom (discussions from other dcum threads) suddenly can't be drafted because they could have babies. Falling back on old sexist arguments. [/quote]
