DH got a CS degree from GMU. I went to William and Mary and have a law degree. DH makes more money than me :-) Hell, he makes more money than my brother who went to Harvard Law!

Anyway, OP, they are both good schools. Does your son have a preference regarding social feel of the school? Does he prefer a city-vibe? UVA is likely to be a more traditional college experience. Not much to do in Charlottesville. GMU offers easy access to DC, but fewer students live on-campus, etc.[/quote]
