The licensing authority saw it fit to use the word "preschool" in its name.  I'll take their word over your ideas of what a "regular" preschool ought to be - as if there is only one way to run them.[/quote]

Well, a daycare can call itself anything it wants. The licensing authority has nothing to do with that. It could be called Kiddie Law School or The Bilingual University of Falls Church, or whatever. But when you are explaining your situation, it is helpful to use words with the generally-understood meaning. No one understood what the hell was going on at your daycare with kids changing classes on their birthdays and weird age groupings, because you described it as a preschool. [/quote]
