Who said anything about perfect agreement?  (except you).  Please consider that what seems like batting away insults could be being presented with unpleasant, but plausible ideas, which you see as "insults" and deal with by trying to get the insulters to go away.   Truly, I don't know of any other forum where people who disagree are asked to leave or shut up.
