No, I don't believe that's true, DC's resourceful gentrifiers will make the DCPS schools work for them, or they'll continue to build a successful charter system if they can't get critical mass. (That stated, this will happen in waves, the current crop of people leaning into their neighborhood elementary schools will burn out.  The next crop will have to tackle middle and high schools.). As a parent, I've got my own blood, sweat, and tears at an improving school, and our improving numbers have had NO help from Kaya, quite the opposite. [/quote]
