Amish culture is a lot less restrictive to women then Islam.    They don't cover their faces. Women may go out in public without men. They do dress their girls in dresses and head coverings, but they don't require them to cover their legs in the summer. Women work and provide important income to their farms and businesses.

Young women are allowed to choose to be Amish or not. Young men and young women both are encouraged to explore the outside world and are allowed to chose baptism or not.  They are allowed to leave the community. No one is allowed to leave Islam.

Amish are pacifists. They harm no one. They forgive those that harm them.

They do not seek to convert others. No Amish person would say that an Amish flag should fly over the White House.
