This is the future - opposition to Israel around the globe and from people who won't change their negative view just because some Baby Boomer clicks her heels three times and says Hamas, Hamas, Hamas every time Israel's war crimes come up. https://mobile.twitter.com/zrjaved/status/495629399451254784/photo/1
I'll stand up for gaza when Hamas disavows it's previous statements about the destruction of Israel. The desire for coexistence needs to be mutual.
Gaza and Hamas are two different things. That dead two day old baby didn't vote for Hamas.
By that logic Israel is different than its government. The fact is that Gaia voted for Hamas, period. So gazans must deal with the policies and actions of its government, just like the Israelis.
I assume you realize that this was exactly the justification used by Bin Laden. Average Americans such as those working in the World Trade Center voted for the American government. Therefore, they were guilty of that government's transgressions and were legitimate targets. When you find yourself on the same moral plane as Bin Laden, it may be time for a rethink.
That's a disgusting comparison and you know it. You are comparing Hamas to the us government. It's time for your idiotic academic exercise to end. You're clearly close-minded and refuse to respond to arguments that you can't win. You're not helping the dialogue. It's your type of opinion that only serves to make the issue worse. If you want to truly make a difference try climbing off your pedestal and gain some perspective. Otherwise you're just an angry voice in the crowd that will ultimately be ignored.
You just said that 44% of Gazans are legitimate targets, simply because of how they voted. Of course when there are people writing things like you just did, I am going to be angry. Any sane person would be angry. The comparison is accurate. Bin Laden articulated exactly the same idea that you did. I didn't compare Hamas to the US. I compared you to bin Laden. If you find that disgusting, maybe you should revisit your idea rather than getting angry with the messenger.
I said nothing of the sort. Putting words in my mouth is a poor excuse for arguing. You did compare Hamas to the us when you accused me of espousing the same disgusting ideology as bin laden. Maybe you need to give your victim ideology another thought before you start throwing out those kinds of grenades. You've spent an awful lot of time and energy over the last few few days criticizing Israel. Whenever someone develops an argument that you gave no response to, you don't respond. Grow a fucking backbone, learn to admit when you're wrong, and start engaging in useful dialogue. Your position on the issues is of no value. You are just an angry voice in the crowd. You want to help the situation, try shutting up for five minutes, reflect on the issues and your positions, and then respond.
