Moms that shop at Whole Foods.
Why on earth would you care where someone else shops? Are these people thwarting your master plan to drive Whole Foods out of business?
Yes, they are. The company underpays their employees. The place is always dirty and a lot of the people that shop there, are snobs. The Whole Foods shopping bag has now become the Tiffany's blue bag. I remembered when Whole Foods (used to be called Fresh Fields) first opened in this area. No one went there-it was the place where the granolas shopped. But now that organic is trendy, the place is making a killing and paying their staff organic peanuts. How do I know all this? I used to work there and believe me...it is not a happy place. Customers who like to say they are pro-environment would come in and take handfuls of the paper bags. Customers who think they are doing a good thing by paying premium prices for organic products don't realize that Whole Foods are buying ther produce from corporate woned farms that are driving the small farmers out of business. The fruit may be local, but it isn't Farmer John that is growing it. Consumers are so easily duped by the media and jumping on the bandwagon without really knowing the whole story. Just as a prior posted about buying an $800 stroller because you think it is better quality. Puleeze! If you can afford it-buy it. But you aren't getting a stroller that is magic. You are lining the pockets of the upper management of these companies. And for those regular moms that shop there because some of their products are cheaper--at least you are doing your homework and not being sucked into the "wholesome persona" of this store.
