Update (again) I told my husband. I had to it was killing me and really pissing me off that she put me here to begin with. He was in shock but I totally trust him and we both agreed its between us. He agrees to not take the trip and understands my predicament. She called today and left a snooty message about cancelling the flights/hotel if we are really not going. I left her a message telling her we cannot, didn't expand on it, just very blunt. She KNOWS she is so wrong. I am sad on one hand as I do care for her and something tell s me her husband will find out. I feel like she is really putting everything on the line for a fun roll in the hay, so not worth it. I really tried to talk her out of it but she has chosen to not listen. It is out of my hands now. Thanks for your input.
OP this is the best place to express your shock, but ever find out that the more right you are the more angry the person gets? So let it go now. Your friend should have known you would tell your DH.
Yes, as soon as she was scolded on DCUM for lying to and withholding info from her DH. There is some sock puppeting going on.
No I don't think so. I was in a support group for a tender subject with perhaps 25 members -- all said they would share intimate stuff from the group with their DH. We had a vote on it, and pretty much everyone e admitted that they were telling their DH. It just seemed normal, so we formally voted that it was OK.
Yes, that's my point -- of course you would share. But OP was perfectly fine with lying to her DH and keeping a secret from him as well, until it was pointed out here how wrong that was. Then suddenly she tells him and runs back to breathlessly update everyone on DCUM that she has told her husband. What kind of marriage is that? Seems totally fake.
Who gives a shit? The point is she told him so chill out. I could understand her dilemma and i think you are being really narrowminded to think otherwise. She told him dealt with it and moved on. i have never met such a judgmental quick to attack group of pricks as i have seen on this board in my life. Get a life.
