I suspect Solange is not well -- mentally -- and Beyonce and Jay-Z are used to this. Unfortunately, they were caught on tape but there may have been prior episodes like this. I am not a big Jay-Z or Beyonce fan but I often wondered why Solange dresses in those weird close and hairstyles. And, you rarely see the sisters together. Of course, Solange has not enjoyed a successful career like her older sister. She seems to be on the fringes of success. It could be because she is unstable. I don't think there is more going on other than what we are seeing -- that Beyonce and Jay-Z are used to these theatrics by Solange and she probably needs some professional help. I grew up with a family member with behavioral and anger management issues, and I agree with this explanation - it's the only thing that makes sense to me.
Same here. The arguments that Solange is somehow defending Beyonce are BS - as if Solange going off on Jay Z would have any influence on his behavior at all. In private, my father would go into violent rages similar to what Solange's but in public he was Mr. Charming. I have no idea what's going on between JayZ and Beyonce (and don't care) but Solange has significant mental health issues. She should be arrested for assault.
x 100 Nothing, no matter how serious, ever excuses that behavior unless you are off your rocker. The fact that Beyonce was so calm is further indication to me that it was an overreaction. I think if Beyonce wanted to get crazy she could - she sings enough from the perspective of an emotional woman.
No reasonable, mentally stable woman I know would react this way to anything other than maybe having a close family member killed. This was clearly an unhinged person exhibiting an episode of violence; the others were calm because 1) they know her mental health history and 2) the bodyguard was there to handle it.
Yes. Occam's Razor. Simple and most likely to be correct.
